Minutes for the
October 2, 2013 Meeting
The public meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals (the “BZA) was call to order by Chairman Al Schutte at 6:30 PM, in the Police Conference Room of the Village of Evendale Municipal Building. Attending in person were Chairman Al Schutte and members Lynn McCarthy and Mike Reed. Supporting the BZA was Pam Morin from the Village of Evendale Building Department.
Chairman Schutte explained that the purpose of this meeting was to approve the minutes and the motion from the August 27, 2013 meeting. There were several questions from those present concerning the appeal process and how long this process may take. These questions were answered by Chairman Schutte and Mike Reed. Exhibits A and B were marked as indicated by the minutes.
The minutes were read. There were five minor changes in wording and punctuation. Mike Reed made a motion to accept the minutes as they were modified. This motion was seconded by Lynn McCarthy. The motion passed with a vote of 3 yes, 0 no.
The resolution was read. There was a discussion of how to number the Exhibits called out in the resolution. Lynn McCarthy made and Mike Reed seconded the motion and to accept the resolution as modified. The motion passed with a 3 yes, 0 no vote.
Chairman Schutte instructed Pam Morin to send a copy of the signed minutes, resolution, and exhibits to Mrs. Dover. Mrs. Dover was told that if she wants to appeal to Council, she must do so within two weeks of receiving the signed minutes and resolution.
Chairman Schutte made a motion to adjoin the meeting. Mike Reed seconded the motion. The motion passed with a vote of 3 yes, 0 no.
The meeting was adjoined at 7:30 PM.
